1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Forensic Intelligence website, using the Dolos AI application (iOS, web, or desktop), or any related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Company Identity
These services are operated by Forensic Intelligence PTE LTD (UEN 202504994C), registered in Singapore at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04, Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914.
3. Accounts and Registration
To use the Dolos application, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Each account is for a single individual. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Permitted Use
You may use our services for lawful purposes including data analysis, research, collaboration, document processing, and professional communication. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Dolos application and its tools.
5. Prohibited Use
You must not use our services to:
- Engage in any illegal activity or violate applicable laws
- Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from our services for unauthorized purposes
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service without authorization
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Circumvent security measures, encryption, or access controls
6. Your Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data and content you upload or create in Dolos, including chat messages, documents, files, and generated outputs. We store your data encrypted on our servers solely to provide you with the service. We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your data only as necessary to deliver the service features you use.
7. AI-Generated Output
Dolos uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, analyze content, and process information. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any AI output before relying on it for professional, legal, financial, or medical purposes. Forensic Intelligence does not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated content.
8. Open-Source AI Models
Dolos uses the following open-source and third-party AI models. All locally hosted models are run on Forensic Intelligence servers — no user data is sent to model providers for inference or training:

9. External Services and Tools
Certain features in Dolos rely on third-party services including Perplexity (internet search and deep research), ElevenLabs (premium text-to-speech), Stripe (payment processing), and Cloudflare (infrastructure). When you use these features, your data may be processed by the respective service under their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their terms before use.
10. iOS Application Terms
The Dolos iOS application is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms of Service and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the application. The app requires iOS 16.0 or later. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to the use of the App Store.
11. Subscriptions and Payments
Dolos offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and billed on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Pricing and plan features may change with prior notice.
12. Account Deletion and Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page in the Dolos application. Account deletion permanently and irreversibly removes all your data including chat history, uploaded files, documents, memories, and preferences. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in illegal activity, or abuse the service. Upon termination by us, we will provide reasonable notice unless immediate action is required to prevent harm.
13. Intellectual Property
The Dolos application, Forensic Intelligence website, branding, documentation, and software are owned by Forensic Intelligence PTE LTD or its licensors. The open-source AI models used in Dolos are licensed under their respective open-source licenses as listed in Section 8. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from our proprietary software without authorization.
14. Security and Encryption
We implement end-to-end encryption (E2EE) using RSA-OAEP-256 and AES-256-GCM to protect your data. All connections use TLS encryption. While we take extensive measures to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and devices.
15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Dolos application and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forensic Intelligence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
16. Privacy
Use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data across our website and applications.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
18. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email. Updates are effective when published on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
